A lifelong equestrian and former hunter-jumper trainer, Carol embarked on a successful career in real estate after moving to North Carolina from Long Island. She has ranked as one of the top selling agents in the Tryon area, covering both Polk and Rutherford counties. In the past two years alone, Carol has had an impressive 27 transactions totaling more than $8 million. In 2017, she had the highest single residence sale ever in Rutherfordton at $1.2 million. (It also ranked as the highest sale in Rutherford County, outside of Lake Lure.) But for Carol her success is truly measured in the satisfaction of her clients who repeatedly recommend her to others. "I take my responsiblity as an agent very seriously and work hard to provide my clients, buyers and sellers, with the highest level of service. Compliments and referrals from my clients are the greatest measure of my success." Despite being an admitted workaholic, Carol finds time for family and the causes that she cares about. She frequently travels to horse shows around the U.S. and Canada to visit her daughter Kaitlan who has embarked on an equestrian career. Carol has been involved in volunteer and civic activities throughout her life including working in animal rescue/adoption and as a parent leader in the United States Pony Club. She received the New York State Liberty Award for Selfless and Courageous Service for helping animals following the Hurricane Katrina disaster in Louisiana. Currently, she volunteers with Foothills Humane Society and has been a supportive member of the Art of the Horse in Tryon, the Green Creek Hounds and the Kiwanis Club of Tryon At her home in Green Creek, Carol offers retirement board for horses, along with keeping a few of her own horses and mini-donkey. She also has 5 rescue dogs that always keep life on the farm entertaining!
